IIAnf's commitment to workforce training
IIANF supports Workforce Preparation for individuals seeking a career with an independent insurance agency or company. We support Northeast Florida colleges and universities by speaking to students about the viability of a career in insurance.
IIANF also introduces insurance-related career opportunities to high school guidance counselors, teachers, students and their parents through participation in career fairs, as guest speakers, and in mentoring and simulation programs.

IIANF's Commitment to InVEST
For several years IIANF hosted the InVEST Program, a national program to introduce insurance and risk management to high school and college students, at area high schools. IIANF provided guest speakers, curriculum, educational materials, and college scholarships. Thank you to all the volunteers and the companies supporting the worthwhile efforts of the InVEST Program.
What is InVEST?
The Insurance Vocational Education Student Training (InVEST) program has provided practical training and educational experiences to thousands of individuals throughout the United States for over 35 years, reaching over 8,000 people annually in more than 230 schools in 25 states.
The high school program offers business education courses featuring real-world principles to assist the student's talents and marketability in the job market. InVEST also serves as an information-intensive introduction to insurance at the community college level, and in vocational or adult education settings. In addition, InVEST is promoted by the Independent Insurance Agents of America (IIAA) as a beneficial service to the business community.
What's the Mission?
InVEST provides education about the insurance industry and its diverse careers, to encourage the development of trained insurance professionals and to create educated insurance consumers.
What is the Impact?
Over two-thirds of students who participate in the program enter into some facet of the insurance industry, but all of the students leave with valuable job skills and experiences.
What are the Direct Benefits?
